With a multicultural family of music-lovers, Sarah often attends various cultural celebrations and live music/art performances with her husband and two young daughters. Jan Collier, the Loan Officer Assistant for Melissa, has been in the service industry for more than 40 years. Interacting with her, you will discover a warm, empathetic, and supportive listener, with a keen sense of attention to detail and follow through. She wants to understand you, your circumstances, and support you to meet your needs and goals.

Her background is in service to others. Initially after experiences in retail and office management, she dove deep into the lifelong professional role of a Registered Nurse – nurturing patients, families, co-workers, and students – to achieve the BEST outcomes possible. Her skill set includes health promotion, mentoring, coaching, problem solving, and leadership development to name a few. Modest about being a Veteran, she is grateful to have had the opportunity to serve her country.

Her academic accomplishments – Nursing (BSN, MSN), Business (MBA), and Military (CGS Diploma) – prepared her well for the role of Loan Officer Assistant, that she now enjoys in “retirement”.

Her passion to serve is in perfect alignment with Melissa, to empower others to become financially literate, and have a solid foundation of financial well-being.
